| abstract In accordance with assumptions of the accepted defence doctrine of the Republic of Poland the engineering support of military operations is of the great importance to achieve the warfare success. The most important are: manoeuvrability and defence durability. In this paper have been estimated of technical level and serviceableness of equipment and technical facilities, which are actually used in the Engineering Units. There are also taken into account the growth trends and orders for new equipment patterns in the range of: road - and crossing points making, laying and breaching of obstacles, field fortification of defence zones. The Military Institute of Engineering opinion has been presented with regard to the possibility of development above - mentioned equipment by the national scientific basis, R & D centres and industry. |
